a) ARG researcher to give keynote on lessons learned from research on sober living houses

Doug Polcin of PHI’s Alcohol Research Group will deliver the keynote address at the Southern California Recovery Summit on October 16. Doug’s presentation, entitled “What are we learning from research on sober living houses, and where do we go from here,” will focus on results from his five-year study of sober living houses and plans for studies of community impact on sober living houses. The recovery summit addresses recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction and is focused on the experiences of those working in the field.
