Asthma financing; healthy home trainings, electronic health records and more

Hello asthma advocates,

Before we get to our regular updates, we wanted to remind you about two exciting events related to financing asthma prevention and management.

First, on Tuesday, October 7th from 10:00-11:30am PST, RAMP will host a webinar, “California Opportunities for Financing Asthma Prevention and Management," that will describe the current financing landscape and provide a menu of opportunities for supporting these interventions. Guest speakers will go into depth on a few of the issues and we will leave plenty of time for questions and answers. For more information about this webinar, including how to register, click here.

Second, on Monday, September 29th, from 11:00am-12:15pm PST, RAMP is pleased to present during the webinar, “Using Social Impact Financing to Improve Asthma Outcomes." Sponsored by the Childhood Asthma Leadership Coalition, the webinar will feature efforts underway to use a social impact bond (SIB) financing model to address the range of complex issues that children with asthma face to get their chronic condition under control. SIBs are a potentially powerful tool for improving services for medically underserved children with asthma. For more information about this webinar, click here.

We hope both events help you to better sustain asthma services to improve community health!

Warm regards,
RAMP Staff
