Children's Defense Fund finally speaks to child health (nutrition) from a local point of view

I have been an admirer of Marion Wright Edelman; however, I was sad to see her and her husband nearly disappear from the national scene after their fallout with the Clintons over welfare reform. Like many organizations that seemed to get their energy from one person/founder, CDF was not heard from during the Bush 2 years.
