We've heard a good deal of conflicting information & points of view re: the food processing industrial complex. Some say the industry is out to make money on the malnourished bodies of the planet. Others say food technology is responsible for finding ways of fortifying food with nutrients and giving us pasteurization on an industrial scale.
Now comes a report from the American Council on Science & Health. Friend or foe.........who knows? The Council released a report on the…

Why isn't there a working class version of Whole Foods? This may change if capital is made availble to community-based entrepreneurs. While farmer's markets are touted as an effective solution to improve access to fresh fruits/veggies, the fact remains the masses prefer prepared meals.
Time and little talent in the culinary arts are barriers to preparing tasty & healthy meals. This is the case for the working soccer mom or the minimum wage-earning dad who stays home with the kids…

The talk of the new health care reform really scares me. I am concerned that we will not be able to get the kind of health care that we need. What if you have a blockage and are in need of
Heart surgery. Will you be eligible for the procedure if you are 90? This stuff really scares me. What advice would you give me to help me understand this?
