These pictures are from Recipe for Success Foundation programs. While Edible Schoolyard was definitely an inspiration for us, we are much larger. We are a non-profit charity and started on the ground in Houston in 2005 but currently working with 3100 elementary aged children every month over the course of the school year. We enjoy the volunteer efforts of 58 Houston chefs who give their time to help us teach kids to cook..
We are working out the details to take RFS national and have demand from over 200 schools and districts from coast to coast ready to implement our signature Seed-to-Plate Nutrition Education™ program as soon as we can make it available to them.

Hi Joanna -- I'm not doing work specifically with HP2020, but my work is related. I work for the YMCA of the USA, the national resource office for YMCAs, specifically on the evaluation team for our federally- and foundation-funded Healthier Communities Initiatives. By 2009, we have funded 137 communities around the country to convene local leadership to create policy and environmental changes to promote healthy eating and physical activity.

So, it's great to have the recent webinar and this site to keep up with happenings on the federal level!
