Assists in the administration of county-wide public health programs. Plans, directs and controls a public health program of moderate size and complexity. Develops procedures to accomplish program objectives or recommends changes in county-wide programs, policies or procedures. Interprets department policies and procedures to and consults with other health related agencies, professional and community groups and the public.
Collects and analyzes information and prepares statistical data for use in the program being administered or by higher level administrators to evaluate program effectiveness. Aids community groups in the promotion and improvement of public health conditions. Prepares correspondence, compiles reports and maintains or directs the maintenance of files and official records. Supervises lower level administrators, professional, technical and clerical personnel. Our mission:
