Description of your work (what you do, what your organization/project does...)
Director of the Center for Aging and Technology, an initiative of The SCAN Foundation and the Public Health Institute. The Center focuses on identifying and evaluating best practices in the diffusion of emerging technologies that enhance home and community-based care for seniors, and serves as a state and national resource base for providers and policymakers. I have worked in the field of aging and long-term care for 30 years as a health services researcher and administrator, and have extensive experience in evidence-based research, development of innovative community-based and residential programs for older adults, beneficial technologies, gerontological education, and long-term care public policy.
