Hi: I was not able to participate in your February forum, but as a researcher working on the CA Health Interview Survey (CHIS), we use HP 2020 as an indicator against the CA population-based data to see how the public's health is trending. Will there be further forums on HP 2020?

Since 1979, Healthy People provides science-based, 10-year national objectives for promoting health and preventing disease. The objectives are set and monitored to meet a broad range of health needs, encourage collaborations across sectors, guide individuals toward making informed health decisions, and measure the impact of our prevention activity.

Please join Dialogue4Health (D4H) for an interactive Web Forum with Dr. Jonathan Fielding, chairman of the Secretary's Advisory Committee on Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Objectives for 2020, as he discusses the process, goals, and implementation of Healthy People 2020 with Dr. Mary Pittman, President and CEO of the Public Health Institute.
