There is a newly update list of HIA guides, tools, & reportsfor HIA work related to specific projects like housing transportation. The link is to the Association of Public Health Observatories in England.  Really good work being done there it seems for at least ten years. 

Why is the US so late in picking up these ideas?   Just a rhetorical question. A bit frustrated with the budget crisis here.

Hi team,

I volunteer at SPN and we assist unemployed professionals (actually any demographic) with career transition and updated job searching techniques.

Alot of these displaced workers have never had to look for jobs their entire career. Some careers have lasted 20 years. As I work with them, I find that there is a great need to not only assist with career development techniques but also assist and validate feelings of depression, worthlessness, lack of motivation, and confusion.

Does anyone have information on the impact of health regarding longterm joblessness among white collar workers?
