This Friday, Trust for America’s Health is hosting an obesity and health reform briefing, featuring Dr. Mark McClellan, Director of the Engelberg Center for Health Care Reform at the Brookings Institution, former administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and former commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration. Experts at the briefing will discuss the findings of TFAH's 2009 annual obesity report, the importance of containing obesity costs through health reform, and various policy approaches.
